Convenos Names New Chief Financial Officer

Scotts Valley, Calif., <October 24, 2007> —Convenos, a web conferencing and collaboration provider, today announced that it has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Soren Thorvald, as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Thorvald will be responsible for reviewing and improving the financial and legal structures of the company to spearhead continuous growth within the organization.

Prior to joining Convenos, Mr. Thorvald was the Chief Financial Officer of Fat Spaniel Technologies where he was responsible for their financial and legal structures. Previously, Thorvald was CFO at Mirasys Communications, Inc. as well as the CFO & VP of Finance & Administration at SurfMonkey Inc., where he managed the company’s short and long range financial planning as well as investor relations. Mr. Thorvald has managed financial teams at many IT companies in the United States, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Denmark.. He holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark
